Hello Wizards, hope you don't mind me posting here but I've tried asking the wizards involved in strifewing genocide and they seem to pre-occupied to answer. I have a set of T7 writs I do which also allow me to harvest T7 materials. One of these writs is killing Strifewing Ambushers, which I do on Strifewing Isle. I consider it a rare occasion if I don't encounter a wizard who sucks up every strifewing in the vacinity and kills them. The wizzie then moves to the next area and rinse & repeats. I've asked most wizards doing this: "Can we group please, I need the ambushers" "Do you need all of them, can I have a few please? " "Sorry to interrupt, but could you explain why you are killing all of them - is there a quest or is it an AA grind?" And questions along those lines. I've never ever ever ever had a reply back. In defense of some of the wizards, their guilds are non-English speaking so probably he didn't have a clue what I was saying. Not all have that defense though as many are in English speaking guilds. Anyway, I thought if these individuals are too busy I might come and ask some of you more responsive finger wagglers if you could explain the attraction of strifewing and your class. Many thanks in anticipation of your explanation. [BTW, I'm not alluding to any bot'ing or anything else nefarious here - in fact the last wizzie was even being considerate enough to tidy up his corpses - I'm just trying to find an answer to this riddle that's been puzzling me]

the simple answer is what they are doin is one of the best ways to make plat. body drops over the course ( or should I say work-day ) of the hours they spend there usually adds up well. It's a tough life.

Thanks mate. I was hoping that the answer would be different, but hey ho we all need in-game cash to smooth the gaming ride.

In 99% of the times I have experienced this, they were gold farmers. Did they have namnes like Qebhgjkil ?

Id report them or run them off. I'm sure somepone is gonna as usual is gonna defend them; but the bottom line is the gold farmers are getting out of control and you just happen to be trying to get mobs in one of their favorite area's.

Doesn't have to be a gold farmer, I hit aversion island and clean-house there for a few quick plat but if there's 2 or more people there I head to other islands.

I clear out those barren sky islands as if I was eating pie.. and I like pie.. alot.. I am a ranger who does this as quick or quicker than most wizards will do it, it happens alot.. However, its probably a bot playing that wizard. Most players know if your clearing something out at an insanely fast rate, and you get a tell for say ambushers because someone needs them for a quest.. You usually make a deal with the situation on saying "ok but im turning on leader only loot because I need money to repair before raid" forinstance.. Someone who just ignores you is probably a bot
