How much do you wanna bet that her diety pet will be an Erolissi Mantrap? These carnivorous flowers were found all over the jungles of Kunark, and the concept art already shows they're returning, so the model is certainly present. I can't think of any other NPC or creature that would be more appropriate as a diety pet.

Isn't that the goddess of love? If so then I think a man eating plant sounds just about perfect.

Most of the deity pets do not make any sense e.g. Innoruuk and the mummy pet, Ro and the imp, etc... Honestly, I think they should go back and redo most of them to make them more in line with the actual deity. For example, the deity pet should definitely be some sort of flame entity for Ro. If they ever brought in Erolissi Marr, maybe they could use the bubbly heart animation that came off the love candles from the valentine day live event. I know that they have a heart pet that is gotten along the Claymore questline.

What class would Erolissi Marr be the likely patron of (as Sol Ro is to Wizards)? Troubadors, maybe?

I think her EQ1 deity armor had wis and cha on it.

Well, she is an elf...so unless the blessings etc. are persuasive, I doubt I would change. We'll see.

For Erolissi's class pet, I'd like to see a minature unicorn. While in a certain fashion that would be more appropriate for Tunare, its not being used yet. I really dislike the idea of a plant. That just doesn't imply anything about Love, Virtue, or Devotion.

As for classes supported by Erolissi: honestly she would favor anyone who would stand for what they love. No matter what their calling in life. A bit more practical though, I think her allowed classes in EQ1 were clerics, paladins, and bards (because bards could worship anything). I'm not certain, but I think that was all the allowed classes. The real suprise here was that paladins starting in freeport could always worship her, or Mithanial Mar. I think Rodcent had paladins as well. Tunare had elven paladins. Brell had dwarven paladins. Karana had halfling paladins added much later and I believe that is all the palain gods.

Pointing this out, Erolissi being the god of love supported the idea of fighting to protect the things you love. Her paladins would be amongst the first to rally against any threat.

Now for actual granted abilities, I'd love to see some effects that offered group protection at personal sacrifice. That just seems like something that Erolissi's followers would do.

I don't know... Venus flytraps are named for Venus similarly from real life mythology, but I've never seen one really used to represent the goddess before. An Erollisi Mantrap is a big carnivorous plant. While it would be rather appropriate for the deity in the sense of a pun, it really wouldn't serve any purpose in lore or sensibility. She's the goddess of love...not predation.

The effect on Plumptucket's Diamond/Ruby Engagement Ring, the "love", would probably be a more appropriate little pet...minus 30 to intelligence, wisdom, and stamina. *laugh*

No, I meant my character is an elf, and they tend to follow Tunare. At least, the non-dark variety do. And those vamp-lovers, now.

The female pre-luclin barbs were...trauma inducing.

i personall think erollisi was more of a cleric/paladin diety, look who her brother is, she could even prob pull off the bard thing pretty well too...

i personally never cared for her, i am waiting for the option to worship Veeshan with SoV and if that option ever becomes available i might have to roll a [Removed for Content] dirge or a troub ( i played a bard for 6 years in eq1, ive been putting off rolling one here )

The day she returns to the game, she will be killed immediately by the local uber guild and stripped of her belongings!
