Ok

Warlock - propergation - +4% group proc chance increaser

Templar - blessings - 20% extra chance to proc group wide

Dirge - Luck of the Dirge - 20% extra chance to proc, group wide

Mystic - Ancestry - +3% chance to proc, single target group friend

Anyone else think we get a bit of a raw deal here, I know we're generally in a good position at the moment with where we are, but it does seem that ancestry is very underpowered compared to the other class equivalents.

I understood that Templar and Dirge buffs dont give raw 20% boost to procs... ... lets say normal rate is 10% proc chance and templar uses his 20% boost spell and that equals total of 2% boos to the 10% proc rate making it 12% proc rate in total. Correct me if im wrong. Ancestry gives raw 3% so with ancestry the proc chance would be 13%

Yes thats the way the dirge and templar buffs work, giving ancestry the edge on low proc chances but giving the dirge/templar better stuff at higher proc chances.

But still the point was that the other buffs listed are all group buffs while ancestry is single target

This current spell is fine. Are you suggesting it be made group wide? That is simply asking for a nerf to a very good spell.

I was asking people opinions on whether they thought it was underpowered, which tbh I think it is. Especially in light of the fact that warlocks have exactly the same buff but it is groupwide and in the dev's opinion isn't overpowered seeing as they buffed it with the last update.

But if people are happy with they way it is currently thats fine.

I thought the Warlock Propegation affected only spells of the group.... not items proc chance. Dunno if they changed that too in last GU.

On my warlock the current description of the Warlock Propagation AA is as follows "increases trigger percent by 4 on all spells cast by the group" The only thing the devs did with the last update is increase the chance from 3% to 4%. Since when does warlock Propagation effect item procs? I guess SOE did not bother to add this effect to the description of the AA? I have not chosen this AA on my warlock. Has anyone actually picked this AA and can confirm Lint's statement?

None of the proc increasers work as they are supposed. My dirges luck of the dirge works on both items and spell procs, likewise the templar one which is supposed to be only items works on my spells too when I group with them, but then ancestry is supposed to be spells only according to the description. The entire proc increaser thing is just bugged at the moment so even if the developers "fixed" it we would lose out

Ancestry works on "All triggers" versus just spells or procs or melee. Items with a "1.8 times per minute" proc rate move up to around "2.1 times per minute" with Ancestry on. So it directly affects item procs, and it affects Dogdog's AE immunity and group wards. (As well as our Bear claw proc) so it's hugely useful. With that said.. it's only 3%, so I don't think it would be outrageous to make it affect groups since Templars 20% relative buff works on groups.
