Hi. I am upgrading to Windows XP soon (from Win2k) and was wondering if anyone had any problems running EQ2. Does it run smoothly or do you have problems like with crappy Vista? Thanks.

However, a multitude of XP users are getting the "DirectX9RenderDevice/OutofMemory" error message. No fix, no comment from SOE, no clue why it's happening. I've searched far and wide all over the internet and come up with very little. So, even though I'm using XP, I'm still having problems crashing to desktop several times a night... sometimes only a few times, sometimes enough to make me give it up for the night and crank up LotR.

And then there are XP users who have nary a problem. I hope you fall into the latter category.
