I know it is a little wierd to be wondering about a guild before I really even get on my feet, but I was wondering if there are any guilds out there who go out of thier way to help newbies learn the game. I'm new to the game and what not and aside from the newbie areas I somewhat get lost sometimes randomly lol. Pretty much I guess I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any guilds that are freidly and invite newbies
There is an icon that guild recruiters can set, for the in-game guild search, that indicates that the guild is newbie-friendly (will train new players?). I cannot recommend a specific server but, when you do decide and take the plunge, look for that newbie-friendly icon.

When you started on a server, also ask questions you maybe have in the lower level or help channels, and see what guilds the people are in who answer and help you. Check these guilds out on eq2players, talk to their members, theres a good chance to find a helpful guild this way.
