Ok first of all i just built my computer about a week ago, but anyways the real problem is my computer just randomly restarted while playing eq2. I think it is because my computer is overheating. Im not sure of this because at first my computer had both sides of the case on when i first started using my computer and it was running at 50 C for my computer and each processor at 50% load ( 2 EQ2's ), but now i it stuck the computer in front of my AC with the side off and it brings it down to about 40 C while playing 2 EQ2's, and this time it still restarted so im guessing its not overheating? does anyone know if buying a Water Cooling System will be worth it? I mean i do have a Quad processor and 2 GBs of ram and a 10,000 RPM hard drive i just felt the video card ram and hard drive and they dont feel heated at all because they are right in front of the AC. the processors were running at about 35-40C. without the AC they will be around 50 each like i said. So i probly need to get the water cooling system eventually. I will list my entire system spec's. Im also getting EQ2 Error's and Freezing often, i have all the latest drivers i need and as well as the latest direct x. Ok right now without any work load my computer is running at 29 C for the motherboard and each processor is 20,22,19,18. Ive also already tryed checking for faulty ram. Any help or considerations please post, also please dont post if your just someone else with a freezing computer just post your own topic thanks

I am having the exact same problem (sorry if you thought this was a solution, but I thought that by my pairing my problem with yours it might be more helpful to these guys to find a solution).

I ran the EQ2 trial of the isle, and vanguard on my macbook pro 2.16x2 Core 2 Duo, ati mobility radeon x600t 128mb, without these random restarts. If anything, vanguard would have caused an overheat. So I don't thing it's an overheating issue. Also, trial of the isle ran flawlessy at high quality. Then I bought the full game (all in one pack) and these restarts started happening. I tried disabling the sound card, but that did not solve the problem.

Memtest ran with no errors.

Thanks for any help!
