Hello, I've decided to post this not into the German forums because I hope that there are more people in the offical English boards to help me. So please excuse bigger and smaller errors here and there I have some troubles to get Anti-Aliasing working properly. I'm using a new Gainward NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS with 640 MB RAM (I've bought me a new computer 2 weeks ago) with the newest drivers, I think (I've downloaded the drivers around 2 weeks ago on a thursday). Right now I'm using 8x AA Multisampling (16x seems to drop the FPS too much...but it could be possible that Supersampling almost doesn't effect the FPS...well, but I think that this doesn't matter for my problem(s)). To activate the Anti-Aliasing, I turned the mode (in the NVIDIA Forceware Driver) to "overwrite progam settings". The I've created a new text-file in the EQ 2 main directory. I opened it and wrote "r_aa_blit 1" into this file. Then I changed the ending of the file into ".ini" instead of ".txt". (by the way: EQ 2 added automatically two other code-lines: "cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAP" and "cl_ui_subdir UI/" - the first seems to be from the EQ2MAP tool, the second's origin is unkown to me). After that I started EverQuest II and deactivated all 3 atmospheric effects (two with "aura" and the "heatshimmer"..don't know the correct description in the English version, I'm sorry :-/ ). Now I have two problems. For the first problem I've made some screenshots:
Best regards and may the force be with you!
