<p>You have already said at FF that "power drains" no longer work as mobs don't have power. Yet a lot of coercer spells are power drains. You said you would fix it -- but when?</p><p>This class is getting incredibly useless. We require 3 slots for Charm but every other class who can charm only uses 2 -- how about reducing ours to TWo?</p><p>Also since Charm is pretty worthless -- after all if you charm a heroic mob he becomes NON-heroic, until Charm breaks when he becomes heroic again and beats the crap out of you. How about returning our "shiny Bob" pet from EQ1.?</p><p>Also our AA line is pretty useless too --</p><p>Basically someone really hates coercers -- we lost all our good CC spells and we honestly can't do any meaningful CC. So how about giving up some help. </p>

If you see a blue in the face troll running around, it probably because I've been asking for things like this for a while.

He is such a wimp. I solo so the class really needs improvemnt. When I think of my enchanter in EQ1 I want to cry -- the comparison really points up the problems with the class. They just left too of the EQ coercer behind.</p><p>We can't even do crowd control. I can remember using PACIFY to Pac a whole room and then having them singled pulled. Mezz duration is so short that you are lucky it will last on a mob through one fight.</p><p>Whoever designed coercer classes must have never played them in EQ1 or else hated them so much that they decided to NERF the hell out of them in EQ2. We basically lost all our class definining abilities and ended up with spells that don't work because of the changes made to mobs ( but not to our spells). </p>

I loved eq1 seeing mobs pulled in wos and lined up like skittles for the group. Tried coercer 3x in 2 and they now sit on the alt pile while i go do fun things with a necro that can charm , a fury that can charm a swashie that can mez or a drige that regens mana. When they lose the Rat illusion ill probably delete him.</p>

Current Non-raiding coercers are still JUST ok. Raiding Coercers?.... See above. I still think that SoE is trying to get rid of the class, but not having the guts to just come out and tell us to get rid of them... They are going to get us through frustration. I already know several who have quit playing their Coercers and have moved on to different classes. It has now become a game of trying to figure out how they will nerf us in the next update. My bet is reducing Spell Scourge and Auspex. That or start messing with our mana regen. Figure it's 50/50 on either.

What level are you guys? I can solo just about anything that can be stunned/mez'd in this game with my coercer. Takes a long time, but it can be done. The easier encounters I can do more damage and use a pet, and things go even quicker. Raid use? Of course we are useful in a raid... try playing a Brawler sometime. I've been asked, or personally decided to switch from raiding with my Brawler to my Coercer so the raid could beat the content more than once... Coercer have a significant impact on raids. Mez doesn't last long? Mine lasts for 40 seconds, and can be recast every 4.4 seconds. Blackscale Sepulcher practically requires having an enchanter, and keeping 4-5 mobs perma mez'd isn't that difficult at all. I will be the first to admit that the class has some fundamental issues with some of it's spells and abilities. Just take a look at my new thread over in the Coercer forum about it. But over-exaggerating the issues of the class isn't going to suddenly make a Dev change their mind and make Coercers super-powered. You guys make it sound like the class in unplayable, which is just untrue.

If all your doing is mezzing that may be true what you are saying.</p><p>But really soloing sucks for a coercer -- the pet is so undependable. I had an ebon drake today. I doubt I had him for more than 1 fight when Charm broke. ANd I had t 2 on my hands. Charm is unreliable and breaks at the worse times (by design I suspect) and in the fight I was busy mezzing one and trying to recharm the other. I was almost dead when I finished. </p><p>On easy mob I don't bother with a pet -- they are too much trouble I try and tank it out. So I concentrate on DPS and Tanking strength and weapons. I try to get extra spells via Enchanter AA's -- they just give me a little more. Our AA line is a piece of junk -- nothing to increase our spells powers.</p><p>The illusionist at least has a pet and I think they should at least return our pet from EQ1 -- I had a real enchanter in EQ1 and he was SO MUCH POWERFUL than this wimp I have in EQ2. It really isn't a question of being uber-powerful, but what give us spells that drain power, than the mobs have no power to be drained -- meaning we have a useless spell. Why did they do that? Who thought that up? We have no way for our charmed pet to gain hate -- that pitiful Hate transfer they give us( smirking demeanor and its follw on) is a piece of c*r*a*p and not worht more than an APP I.</p><p>I don't raid - I solo and this class is useless and I would not recommend the class to any player. </p>
