<p>After trying the 'Play the Fae' trial for a few days I ordered the full boxed set and entered the keycode to download all the extra content. After a few hours it completed and I tried to change from the EU to US servers but the drop-down box is greyed out so I cannot change anything.</p><p>I've seen another post like this where the user managed to get around this by using the 'real' launcher instead of the Fae launch but this takes me straight through to the character select screen - by which time it's too late and I only have the two EU servers to choose from.</p><p>Anyone know how to get around this - or are there ini settings I can change to force/ungrey the region select drop down at all?</p><p>Hope someone can help.</p><p><b><u>RESOLUTION</u></b></p><p>I have found that by uninstalling the Fae trial completely (and deleting all files in EQII directory) and then installing the vanilla 18.2MB <a href="http://everquest2.station.sony.com/en/install/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">installer</a> from Sony I was then able to select and change the region at the EULA screen. It does mean that you have to download absolutely everything but it does work.</p>
