12K+ Melee Hit?!

<p>....so Im browsing through the rankings and I reminded myself of a question I had regarding some of the stats noted on the rankings.  Specifically, I noticed that the highest Melee hits by a Swashbuckler are over 12,000!</p><p>How on Earth (...excuse me, Norrath) did these Swashies strike for over 12,000 in one hit??!!</p><p>Can anyone let me in on the secret?  ....promise I won't tell anyone else...lol</p>

It is my understanding a lot of the highest hit marks were against highly debuffed very low level gray mobs.  Apparently they have changed things so this cannot happen any more making the highest hit lists basically meaningless.

its not really a melee it so much as its a physical dmg hit so it short its a ranged autoattack crit. bows like star darkened longbow with pre-nerf tenderarrows were famous for the [Removed for Content] dumb high hits

<p>You will see hits even higher than this. Most likely they are from MMIS and are from them using stakes to kill the vampires there. Last night a Brigand in our raid critted for over 14k with the killing blow.</p><p>Groucho</p><p>70 Swash of vox</p>

I thought the stakes were magic damage, not melee

also a chance that this is from exiled swashy w/ zek as god and using the rallos' devastation miracle, but the bow thing is most likely it. (my personal best hit was w/ that on a crit w/ no debuffs at just under 11k using that skill)

Then I pointed out he was the staker, which gave him 150k damage. lol.</p>
