View Full Version : Downloading EOF
I just downloaded EOF. A friend bought the retail version. They are both the same price. The retail version includes the previous 2 expansions. Does the downloadable version contain the previous expansions or did I just get ripped?

If you bought it from D2D then it would have come with everything. http://www.direct2drive.com/6/4362/...lation-Download

No, the DL version does not include the previous expansions.

Yeah, I was afraid I was getting ripped. I should have done better research from the start. I guess it is too much to ask to get a fair shake from SOE. Anyone know how to get a refund?

Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem, Tles.

I'm a big fan of digital distribution, but I was very [Removed for Content] when I learned how much of a rip-off the Digital Download of Echoes of Faydwer is.

However, I just called up Customer Support and I got an answer on how to fix the situation. The CS Rep told me that I could buy the retail version of EOF and register it on my account. Then I could call back to CS and have them refund the digital download version of EOF. Note: I have not actually completed this process, so I can't promise it will work, but it seems rather straight-forward.

Hope this helps.
