Hello all. I've been away a while and just returned a week ago and having real fun. I am now level 56 and Lesser Faydark going smooth and I still like beeing able to toddle around and beat up stuff here and there. I run around solo most of the time, forced by unplanned afk'ing(familiy and so on...) but also like to be useful in groups and raids(as of tank/minidps/mascot/tourist) when I feel I can join one from start to end. I am not a min-maxer but like to be usable. I am also much into looks and the green-purple-pink-blue combinations I see here and there really make my eye twitch. Anyways, to my question. I noticed armor had changed, there's two different types, vanguard and devout as well as many new weapons. As I get closer to level 60 I thought I should upgrade my cobalt armor but the one I wear(from way back..) do not look at all, statwise, like the cobalt I see in Broker. As the 'set' I am wearing now works very well I'd like some opinions on what changes I will see if I switch to next tier vanguard compared to my current stat balance. Should I safely go on wearing vanguard or is it wiser to mix it with devout(which looks worse imho). If you take a look at my profile http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...terId=315703204 and compare it to what comes from level 60-62, what would be the next most natural step? all vanguard, devout or a mishmash? EDIT: I wear my 'running boots' in the profile, otherwise I also wear cobalt boots

if you would not care at all about the look and be happy walking round looking ait silly, go for Devout, Else you could mix it and hide the devout if you have all parts vanguard exept Boots (will be hiden by leggins) Forearms (hidden under gloves) and helmet... if ypu play wiht not show helmet thats problebly what to be recomanded. I wen past this problem by having armor full vanguard, and all jewels Sta-Wis-Int i have abit over 300 int when im alone. and there are many small things you can do to increase your int, like hex dolls is a good thing hope it helps

I will have to look around and see what jewels exist pre 60, aswell as harvest for new dolls when that time comes
