question about the guild recruiting list

if you open your guild window, then go to the tab all the way to the right for recruiting, then click on the shield at the bottom left to bring up guild recruiting, it shows a list i was wondering what all is required for a guild to show up on that list...have looked at different times when are guild was on the list and how high on the list it was, and compared it to current people on, guild lvl related to other guilds, etc. can not seem to figure out what determines who is on the list and their position on it any info on this would be awesome preciate it...lata

not 100% sure, but i think it have to do with amount of accounts in the guild

The guilds with a lot of members also usually have many recruiters online during the whole day, so they will show on this guild recruitment tool all the time. Limited to showing 50 guilds (not 100% sure on that number atm), but there are way more guilds on every server, means only a few are to find there. Another possibility to get you more members for your guild is posting on your server channel, recruiting in the channels ingame (just don't spam all the time, this annoys people). The best way for me still is to group with people, make them friends, see how good they fit, and recruit them if they want to be part of your guild. Also if you are looking for a guild see who answers your "newb" questions ingame or anywhere else, see if there are people willing to group/help, and check their guilds on their websites to apply.

<p>I still wish they implemented what is in EQ1.</p><p>It is a bulletin board found in the Bazzar area.  Guilds list they are recruting and when people look at it, you see them all not some select few that never seems to change.</p><p>Forgive me if I sound a bit angry but there are guilds up there who are level 60+ with over a 100 members.  They don't need to be up there they can go by word of mouth.  For those small guilds starting up, it is a rarity to get on that list if ever even if you play for 8 hours straight.  The only way to get people remotely interested is by spamming in channels.</p><p>I've had people ask me why I have to be asking in channels for guild members when I should be up on the guild window, or why I am not up there in the first place.  So people do look at it.</p>

<p>Is anyone in your guild authorized as a recruiter?  That might have something to do with it.</p><p>I admit, though, that's a guess.  Our guild members are too lazy to recruit, so I doubt we've got anyone tagged as a recruiter.</p><p><span style="font-size: xx-small">I think we've only added 4? new members since game launch...</span></p>
