NO DROP PAGES -- ZEK Tome collections.

<p>I find these very hard collections quests to complete. I missing about one page from about 6 differenct collections. They seems to be random spawns and randome bottom drops. I have been trying for a week to finish these.</p><p>I think they should either make them like the quest in EL or make the NO DROP pages a lot more frequent or in fixed locations. It is no fun killing grey mobs and not getting the drop.</p><p>I check at Allakhazam and although they give a location I have yet to find one of the pages that the spawn locations given.</p><p>Anyone else find these as frustrating as I am? </p>

No offense, but it's supposed to be difficult to complete. Collections, tome or otherwise, always seem to haveone that is much rare-er than any others.  Think about the fact that someone, at some point, had to go through the the Feerrott hovering their mouse over EVERY plant in the swamp 'cause some of those plants hid pages. There's plenty of other quests to do that don't require this kind of effort and a lot of people would probably agree with me on this. I don't want to go to the vendor 'cause it's easier to farm 2 plat and do my collections that way.

<p>Yeah the developers intentionally designed each book quest to contain at least 1 no-trade page drop off monsters.</p><p>Just gotta do a little research and find that monster to kill. I know how you feel. I've got about 12-15 or so unfinished book collections.</p>

<p>I found Zek to be the easiest set to complete. Once you know the different areas the pages spawn, it is just a matter of harvesting them till you find all the pages. On one of my characters, I don't think I got any pages off mob drops, all were from harvesting the ! nodes.</p><p>Now Feerrott, that one is a pain, there is one collection I am still missing 3 pages, and darn if I can figure out the location those pages are to harvest them. I have 2 or 3 other collections in Feerrott that are missing the no-trade page.</p>

Owlchick never finished that zone as well as Everfrost. Let me repeat: All pages can be found as "!" in El and Zek. No need to kill monsters.

That is too bad, some of the titles looked really interesing. How about the tomes in the SS are they completeable?

I've been harvesting from EL and Zek for ages, and never once came across a no-trade page from a !

Well, much time later, I musta had about 100ish pages in my bags - 30 different ones (so 30 stacks ranging from 1 to 10 for each) and out of those 30 different stacks of pages, 5 were no trade (obviously not the ones I wanted, but thats beside the point). How about the tomes in the SS are they completeable? </blockquote><p>The quests are all completable - what Jardon was talking about was the fact that one of the Devs (who has since left) was working on converting all body drop pages to be available as "!" as well.  She finished doing this for EL and Zek, but only got partway through Feerrott and (as far as I can tell) did not even get started on Everfrost.</p><p>Therefore, all pages can be harvested in EL and Zek, but in Feerrott and Everfrost, some pages are still body-drop only. </p>

I have done the zek and EL book quests on three characters now. They are really easy. EL pages are best found along the coast with Lamias - tons of them. Zek pages are found everywhere. <p>Yeah..</p><p>Every page in the Enchanted Lands and in Zek can be found from (!) ground spawns. I found every page multiple times with ease in EL and Zek. t took a little time, but was not very difficult. These two zones were Owlchicks vision of how the tome collection quests should be.</p><p>She never finished Feerrott and never started Everfrost. In Everfrost you can collect most of the tradable pages from (!) ground spawns but have to kill creatures to find the NO-TRADE pages. I have three left in Everfrost and I usually run through the cave full of Skyshield Maidens to look for the NO-TRADE pages.</p><p>In the Ferrott...I am done with all but two books. I cannot for the life of me find <b>1st Lt Dergud page 7 or 3rd Lt Gerrog - Logbook Pages 10 and 11</b>. I am beginning to think the NO-TRADE pages of these two books are not in the game. I have found every NO-TRADE page over and over for the other 13 books in Feerrott...but never these two. </p>
