View Full Version : Bug w/ Consignment and Lore items?

Hey all, I just wanted to post about a bug in game, I believe since GU37. Currently, you can't craft an item for someone else if it is lore, and you (the crafter) already have one of that item. Specifically, this is effecting the recipes that drop from named in Emerald Halls. Once both players have clicked accept in the consignment window, it gives a message saying you cannot create that item because it is lore, however it should let you, as the person you're consigning it to will receive it, not you. And no, the person I was consigning it to did not have the item, and I tried consigning it to a couple different people, so it wasn't a bug with one particular player.

I've confirmed that it wasn't just me, I know of a couple other players that have ran into this problem in the past week. I'm not totally sure, but I would imagine you will run into this problem if trying to consign craft a wurmslayer to someone else as well, as it is a similiar situation of consigning a lore item.

Currently, the only work around I can see, is if you want to craft the item for someone else, you're either going to have to delete the item you have, or wait for a fix. Seeing as these recipes have a limited number of crafts (5 crafts per recipe book), and the recipe book as well as the recipe ingredients drop in a raid zone, that's a pretty costly workaround.

Any feedback or time devoted to looking into this is appreciated, thanks.

Hi folks, What's going on here is a possible outcome product or byproduct is the same as a component that will be consumed in the crafting process. An update released with GU37 to check crafted LORE items is complaining about this. This will be fixed in a hotfix within the next day or two. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Ahah, that's what that was... Spouse, guildee, and I finished Manastone HQ and had to make the bag. Neither of us are crafters and the guildee was an Artisan. After the guildee made theirs, couldn't make ours at all. It was the 'more than one lore item' notify. So they switched out to their Alchy zerker who could make it for us. So here's another confirmation of that odd bug and thanks for letting us know about the fix!

Hi All, The hotfix for this problem has been moved to next week due to some unrelated issues we're having (Autenil really did fix the bug!) As I have more information what day next week I'll make sure it gets up onto the boards. - K

Thats the thing there was no error message. We ran to the forge in sos. My friend Had all the components in his inventory. I opened my tradeskill window through the forge in sos and selected the recipy to create the item for the draco mortuus vos liberatio quest. My friend added the components in the right order and added the fuel. we both accepted the consignment task. The consignment window had the accept butto greyed out after this but no rafting window after that. We where both standing right on top of the forge, since i have had trouble with range a previous time i created the item for another friend.I myself have completed the quest on a earlier date, and have the reward in my house.Hope this helps.Hannu
