Does anybody know of any adornment items that could potentially help with Tradeskilling? For example, adornments that increase your power refresh rate. I've tried searching on the broker but all adornments are pretty much 'lumped' together unless your looking for +max power/health or a stat increase.

the only adorns that could help, in a small way, are the power regen adorns Metaphysical lining for cloaks. and Metaphysical Ornaments for symbols. even at top tiers, these only give a small increase (3 per tick per adornment if i remember correctly) so the help they give are negligable. Apart from this, there are currently no adorns that help crafters. I do think adorns for crafters (i.e + success rate etc..) would be a cool idea though.

Drinks and totems will do you far more good and cost far less than any useful adornment. I also think that tradeskill based adornments would be nice, but would rather have tradeskill based clothes first.

this isn't exactly an answer to your question, but it may help...

Tinkerers craft charm slot items that increase success rate. I use the +2.0% success increase on my woodworker. Every little bit helps.

If you are in a high enough guild, the drink from the city status merchant is the best I found. At a gold plus status its expensive but worth it for the power regen.

My tradeskillers have the artisan tunic and some matching leggings and boots (with no stats, so virtually the same as being naked really). Was just checking there wasn't something worth adding to those leggings/boots. Metaphysical adornments appear to be In-Combat power regen, so unless tradeskill counts as in-combat (I doubt) they won't be much use. im pretty sure the power regen adorns (and flowing thought items etc...) increase power regen in and out of combat. I cant get ingame at the moment to check, but will do later. See the stickied post at top of forum for info on other tradeskill related clothing etc.... http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=347050

Just checked in -game, and the in-combat power regen (i.e from the metaphysical adornments) DOES work out of combat to.

Tradeskilling is out-of-combat. Other wise totems wouldn't work.

But the description of the adorns etc.. must be inaccurate (well, not complete, should say 'increases power regeneration whin in combat and out of combat) . As they do increase power regen at all times.

You want tricks?

1) Get your power pool as low as possible by unequipping anything that has +power to it and taking off all buffs. Depending on your class, also remove anything that increases that stat tied to your power pool. So if you are a warrior, unequip anything with STR, if a mage, anything with Int.

2) Get the item from Isle of Mara that increases your main tradeskill and increases your success chances

3) Get the tinkering item that increases your success chances

4) Use your pick of the underfoot or someone elses pick of the underfoot for another increase in success chances

5) Get the belt of the crafters from the Nek Castle 3 zone (I forget the name of it)

6) Get the fabled drink from the city broker

7) Use a power totem

Get a dirge/troub and a coercer to group with you while you are in the crafting instance and have them follow the above suggestion and put up their PoTs.

If you get to do all or most of the above suggestions, your crafting experience will be an unforgetable one ^_^

Actually, belt of the tinkerer only increases tinkering. I was thinking about the Tinkered item that increases success chances of your particular tradeskill. For example, eye of agamon(sp) for sages, that gives them a 3% success chance.

And yes, I completely forgot about mentoring, I have done it a few times. Imagine mentoring a level 1 person while "under the influence" of some drinks and other PoT things... Inf Mana ftw!!
