With the flood of more rare harvests on the market due to items staying listed for a lot longer because of the LU 37 changes the inevitable selling of rare crafted items much cheaper appears to have happened. Before LU 37 items you where selling stayed listed for 24 hours after you logged off, now they stay listed for a week and on top of that you can now sell with every toon on your account instead of just one.

I am a little more then worried that I am now buying Xegonite, Cobalt, Ebon and all the other rare metal harvests at less then half of what I was. I had a healthy back stock of rares that has lost most of its value and lots of people who have bought rares now at the much cheaper price are selling master crafted for less then half of what I was selling them for a week ago.

This is all great and good have a laugh haha got the long term guy who was trying to plan ahead and lets just s-crew him over kinda deal but come on, how rare is a rare I pay next to nothing for? Sure I will keep on buying rares and selling at the new lower price but it feels kinda stupid to ask more for my time crafting then even the highest level rares are worth, lol. Pay 9 gold for a Tier 7 rare harvest and ask 20 gold to make something for someone does not work. The fuel and common harvests now cost more then the rare to make the complete rare mastercrafted item. Thats right the common harvests and fuel now cost more then the rare, what are we gonna do to fix this?

Lets put the "rare" back in "rare harvestables".

Well... just like any other LU etc etc... this could be a burp in the rares, or perhaps SoE is helping out the non raiders, and such by increasing rare drops so they can afford decent gear .... *shrug* Tbh I dont mind the new rates for costs, but I am sure they will change once again after FF. Just my personal view of this and feeder of a few alts

The change hit me when people started offering rares as payment i am used to 2 for 1 offers on provisioning , but it makes me realise rares are perhaps at the moment a little too common when your given a palladium as payment for a combine.

God forbid the excuse for price gouging be lessened... Edit: Incidentally, I'd say that the drop in price is more due to the changes in allowing all alts to list on the Broker at once. Greater supply + same demand = lower prices.

I also think there were changes to imbuing items that may have also played with drop rates of other items. I don't think people would have been hanging onto rares just because they could not fit them in there broker boxes.
