Ok all you Mystics out there. I'm sure this has been asked before but lets do this again!

I'm a 67 Mystic. What weapon, shield (if using one), is the best for the rest of the game. I generally grp alot but sometimes solo, also I've been raiding as of late. What do you all recommend. Currently I'm using the Blackscale Maul, great wpn, but swings WAY to slow! What's all your thoughts? If you can list whatever wpn and/or shield, charms ect.. Anything you think.

Thanks all....

The staff you can make in the Nest of the Great Egg has a similar DR (with 100% crits) to the Blackscale Maul, but with a 4.0s swing instead of 8.0s.

I have both the Blackscale Maul and the Strifewing Bone Bo. SBB is a level 63 2H staff, +45 str/+45sta/+70 power/+100 health/+3 crushing. It does 47-269 damage (79 rating) with a delay of 4.0 and generally hits for 378 every time in my case (high damage variance means that almost every hit with 100% melee crits is upped to the max damage). I expect that by level 69-70 there might be something better, but this is as good as I have seen on the broker. I have been using the Blackscale Maul most of the time and switch to SBB when I need to hit more often (particularly when fighting multiple mobs).

I personally never saw the benefit of the blackscale maul. Even with max crits it performed poorly for me. =/ maybe the RNG hates me.

(noted you 100% crit comment after posting ) then of course the calculated DR tells the "true" story.

++Xan
