Question regarding spell upgrades

Now that fan fair is over and people are posting dev compents i read somewhere that all spells are on a 10 lvl upgrade patternt not 14, and all spells will revive a upgrade.  Does  this mean we are going to be getting some love for our hate buff.  Right now it's marginaly fine, i find my self getting hate alot since 14% isnt much of a transfer.  Just wondring what every on thinks..

It sounds like they may end up trying to remove ~30% of our spells by consolidating them into 10 levels instead of 14. Unless they give us more spells per level... in which case, that's fine. I've always felt that the 14 level concept was fairly odd considering EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE GAME went by the tiers and a 10 level progression. So yeah... <img src="/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> to base 10 progression (ain't metric fun?), but <img src="/smilies/e78feac27fa924c4d0ad6cf5819f3554.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> to dumbing down the game. Hopefully that can pull off the former without having to deal with the latter.
