I check the mystic spells list and i can't see spell who can help splitting an encounter, like root, mez, snare..,..,.. How you mystic do to manage a pull of, let's say, a named mob ?

Mildren, Befallen server

You're a Mystic. Crowd control is not your job. Leave it to the classes who can do it, and enjoy your healing and debuffing. If you're talking about soloing multi-mob encounters... you need to tank them all at once. With wards preventing interrupts via damage (though not by abilities that interrupt directly), it's not that bad. Get your DPS and attack speed debuffs out there to limit incoming damage and you can solo some heroic stuff.
Get some good gear and tank it, really only the way to do things as mystic. Just make sure to stack some wards on you before the fight so you can apply some debuffs, they help alot. On rare occasions you might get a clean pull with the pet tho but that is in the grey area for exploiting I guess.

Preward tanking is best as others said. But if you really want to play around with rooting, say for a mob that you can almost kill and need a bit of help, try the root from agi line. Range is short so you really have to root up close and back away. If you're not happy with that then try to make some rooting roots from KOS carnivorous plant or tinker away and get a tinkered root. So that's three options for you which you can use in tandem or circle around with recast time in mind. I use all three options when I really need to but normally just use the prewards to help me through it. I almost forgot. I also use instant aoe mez mystics get along with tinker FD when I'm desperate. Works well with relatively long cast time of that FD which is 3sec while mezz lasts for 5sec. So that's 4 options for you.
