Hi ! I'm new in Everquest (I've played EQOA but it's quite... different ^^) and I've made an Inquisitor. I would like to be able to solo efficiently. I'm looking for suggestion about AA's line. Must I begin with "Invocation Strike" (rank 5 ? or less ?) to reach Battle Cleric as faster as possible ? Or is there any other skill that I have to take before ? Moreover, I dither between Sage craft (for my spells) and food/drink craft (to have always good drink ==> solo faster). What do you suggest me ? That's all And sorry for my bad english, I'm from a french server but the french board is not very active ^.^

I would suggest that you get to at least 4/4/8 in the cleric stamina line before persuing any of the EOF skills. 100% crit is a major dps boost and when you do start placing points into the battle cleric line, those abilities will crit along with your normal melee hits. I also like the cleric agility line for the extra double attacks but some prefer the intelligence line for spell crits and faster casting. For tradeskills, I would suggest sage over provisioner. Food and drink are usually not all that expensive and power regen can be suplimented by totems. Also of note, once you get to level 45 and scribe the Harrowing Inquest spell and its future upgrades, power basically becomes a non-issue. Now if you're really crazy, take up tinkering along with sagecraft. With all the harvesting you have to do for tinkering, you'll pretty much have all the rares you'll need for your inquisitor spells plus a scout/warrior and a mage.

I'd suggest getting like 50% melee crits then getting all 4 top CAs, and then filling out all 4, and then getting the end skill. Then maxing out the critrate, and after that, getting the other CAs.

CA stands for Combat Arts. These are the Battle AA conversions that make your spells become weapon-based attacks with no chance to interrupt and something like .5s casting time. They use the same recast timer as their respective nuke but you never need to upgrade them once theres 5 points in each. The order i would suggest for AAs is 20-Battle, 4-4-8-7-1 STA, 4-4-7-8-1 INT. The AGI line is another option instead of int, double attack would help your dps a bunch but personally i prefer INT because of our long cast time heals. Its very useful, especially with Yaulp running, to be able to get spells and heals off faster when youre taking lots of hits.

All right. You suggest me 20 points in Battle Cleric. 1 point = 1 rank, right ? So, it's possible to put more than 20 points in "Battle Cleric" line. Which skill is indispensable in that line ? Thank you
