View Full Version : Why not we SK have a skeleton form?

Why not we SK have a skeleton form? I am a SK form EQ to EQ2, and in my opinion, SK should have a skeleton form and then be a ture SK. As our title, Grave lord, Scourge Knight, and so on,we are connect with death from here to there, so , if we Shadowknight, can not cover us in a skeleton form, can we call ourself the avatar of death? We can not receive this fact, we have a trick spell named "Hand of Lucan", in a madmen without any relations about our deity and traditions. We wanto have a skeleton form with our armors and weapons, and we can do better in this from!

We use to have a skeleton form that was part of our Offensive stance buff, aka Pox Sword line. EDIT*** See below post I thought is was our Off stance*** I don't remember off the top of my head on what Live Update it was that SoE removed it. I believe it occured in LU 23ish... around the time of DoF being released. I liked that form would be nice to have it back again.

Skele form was an alternate Lucan''s Pact (Defense Stance) that was a training option before they changed training options to be M2 instead of Ad2 with added effects

<p>I almost stoped playing my SK when they removed the Skele Illusion from our defensive stance at level 30.  However I beleive the reason behind it was that we coudlnt ride a mount while using an illusion at the time.</p><p>I dont knwo the officla reason, but its true that we couldnt ride a mount while in Skele form.  =(</p>

The bad part with skelly form for non "humanoids" is that we look like a "human" skeleton. If I could have my necromancer look like a ratonga skeleton with his hood up... mmm would be awesome <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Yeah they removed it to fix the fact we had to keep dropping our defensive stance to ride a horse or a griffon. Then later they fixed it so illusions dropped automatically when people did that stuff, but never added the skeleton back to our stance. I always kept it off anyways, the laugh every time I swung eventually drove me nuts.  Now if they could make the illusion NOT laugh every second during a fight, I'd like it back.

      Now, my SK bros, the only i can do is hoping SOE 's officers pay more attentions on our discussions. IN THE NAME OF GOD, I like skelly form, especially a skelly in a SK's armor!!!!!
