Hey folks! I know in the past I've seen threads that had Shadowknights saying that they just sat back and nuked like a mage while on a raid. Is this true?

My SK is currently 45 and I really do love playing him! Every group that I'm MT, I get nothing but very happy groups with my tanking ability. Plus, I hardly ever lose aggro. I feel that I've actually got this class figured out and am having a blast with it! My only fear is to reach the end-game and realize that I'm just expected to pull on a robe and study my spellbook. I didn't roll a tank to JUST cast spells.

I either MT or MA most of the time.

OT or MA, sometimes when the other SK in our guild is there aswell (he has slightly better defensive gear) I go for dps and do that quite nicely.

OT, unless the MT doesn't show up. Sometimes if I feel like a change I let the Berserker OT and sit in the back, putting out respectable DPS.

I get asked to play my bruiser ... we have a plethora of plate tanks in the guild as it is and that's initially why I rolled a bruiser. The bruiser does tend to manage aggro better and has not disappointed when stepping in if the MT goes down (on KoS raids, we do not have much EoF experience as of yet) The bruiser has a slight edge in KoS fabled gear but not earth shatteringly so.

That said, I imagine the brigand will be even more welcome once he's 70 as he'll more than likely cap aa before he caps his adv levels.

At the end of the day though, I just like raiding and could care less which char is there as long as I am. Whatever helps make the mobs go splat works for me. /shrug

Depending on the mob, Ill Main Tank, or Off Tank/Secondary Tank.

We have two SK's that raid normally, and Im tank spec'ed and he is DPS spec'ed. We like to put him in a gorup with mages and let him average 1.2-1.75k DPS zonewide.
