Consider weapons two weapons with 87.8 dmg rating and the same delay. Lets purely for the sake of argument say that the auto attack of this weapon does 87.8 dps. With 68% double attack you are now doing 147.5 dps (0.68*87.8 + 87.8 ) With two weapons each with a 33% delay increase your weapon is doing 117.6 dps (87.8 - 0.33*87.8 )*2 this is roughly 80% of the double attack dmg Now lets say that while double attacking an average of 50 % of your dps come from auto attack: Double attack spec would do about 10 % more overall damage than just and agl speced duel wield (100-80)/2 90 % vs 100 % Now lets add str crit bonuses to the duel wielder: Assuming that @ 100 % crit one gets 30% more damage overall, 14 % crit would yield 4.2 % overall dps (30 * .14) The 4.2 % is only a 3.78 increase with respect to the double attack spec. (90*0.042) Then this is added to the duel wield percentage. In the end duel wielding will do 93.78 % of the damage of a double attack spec. [edit] stupid auto smilies

I thought the delay was offhand only, why are you applying it to the mainhand weapon as well? Something change on test? If offhand only then I would say the math would be: (87.8*0.66) + 87.8 = 145.75 or 87.8 * (1-0.33) + 87.8= 145.75. Giving a difference of 1.75 dps. Factor in the extra 2 procs, and stats from the offhand weapon.
