I just saw this new trailer for Rok: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/23172.html and griffins mounts show up, wouldn't be a better idea to have dragons or some other flying mount instead of griffins, I mean DoF had carpets, KoS had clouds, EoF have the horsies fast travelling, would make more sense something like dragon mounts... bah maybe I'm just tired of those brainless birds

Tamed Drakota? Yeah that would make the Ring of Scale happy. Although it would be cool as heck.

You would have to enslave Drakotas to serve as mounts (as they are intelligent) and I don't think that would work very well. Not only are they extremly strong, their masters are even stronger. But how about tamed giant beetles?

I know. I was more or less just joking around with the Drakota thing. As for beetles...ARE there beetles that big?

Ahh yeah see that's what I get for playing a fea most of the time. I see everything as big in relation to me but not nessisarily big in relation to everyone else.

I would think maybe wyverns, one of the concept arts on the RoK site looks like a wyvern to me with the stinger tail and all that and those (based off dnd) are trainable and not as bright as drakota.

The Iksar also make the Sokokar which are a froglok/dragon hybrid.
