I tried Lord of the Rings Online,  and it made me realize how much more polished this game is compared to alot of the other titles(even newer ones) on the market.

I don't think any MMO has ever been released in a polished state. What always remains to be seen is whether they are polishing a gem (EQ2) or polishing poop (Vanguard).

You have to give it that LOTRO was just released, I just left since I felt I was missing EQII. I say give it a year or two and it will be great.

Getting even better, too. Faydwer is MUCH more solo friendly than the old world was, and the "playability improvements" in the lower old world zones are giving that a boost there, too. Overall, the play has gotten less tedious by a long shot from when it launched. On LotR:O : Gave it a shot during beta. After a few hours, my impression was "Meh. Been there, done that." As for Vanguard...I wouldn't know, I got frustrated after near slideshow framerates at low quality graphics on a computer that runs EQ2 at high settings smoothly. I'd understand if the graphics looked better than EQ2s, but they don't really.

i think burning sea will be good on relase. sure minor bugs but nothing like current games.
