I just noticed that people who pre-order EQuinox will recieve a invitation to the RoK beta program. This probably means the is by now the date and terms of the beta are known. So can you share some information with us about the beta, especially the part of when it starts and how we can take part without pre-ordering EQuinox?

I don't think that info has been released yet.

Thats why I am asking to release them now. After all they are de facto handing out invitations already.

They havent handed out invitations to beta for RoK. They have handed out invitations to the Legends of Norrath beta but not RoK. Pre-ordering Equinox will give you a spot in the beta at some point during its beta cycle but no one as far as i know has received any information on that so it isnt correct to say that they are handing out invitations yet.

Those NPC sarnak look awesome. The player one not so good. I was hopeing Soe would suck it up and add a race that actually looked unique body wise to the player side but unfortunatly it looks that all the really cool bestial races will have to stick to NPCs. I just like the wonderful legs that all the NPC races seem to have is all...players seem to all be one body with a different head.

There are limits to how unique you can make something with out the application of armor to that model becoming a total [Removed for Content], and models have to stick to a largely humanoid model w/ one head two arms and two legs, with tails and legs optional. PS. THOSE HEADS ARE HUGE

I know I didn't much like how huge their heads were..looks kinda weird. Looks like they should fall over foreward. Heh they did the opposite of the male iksar who's heads are to small.

As for the body type I guess I got spoiled in Horizons. I miss the beast races that have the actual beast legs (think aviaks and npc Sarnak). There are HUGE differences between the npc sarnak and the player. All the sarnak at the begging of the video are player and all of the sarnak at the end of the video are NPC. They look like two different species entirely. Which they kinda are. I know the scewed body for the players is because of armour I just wish they had allowed for more unique races when they made the game instead of just humanoid shape be it hunched over or not.

Edit: When I say NPC I mean the original sarnak and not the NPC's for the player race.

Woot, another Horizon player! Say how is this game going? I haven't played for more than a year now because I always feared that the servers will be shut down. (My character has been probably wiped anyway in those european server catastrophe/thing). Back to topic: I wanted to say when SOE starts to promise spots in the RoK Beta then it is likely that they know the timetable for it and how many people will be allowed to take part and it would be nice if the Devs could share this information with us.

The game? EI has all but killed it but hey..you can essentually play for free now that billing is screwed and I'm STILL building my lair.

Ixalmaris what I was hopeing for was that the sarnak would keep their looks and be more like the sslik from horizons. You know, with the nice long clawed feet and not just feet like normal bipeds. Basically the look the original Sarnak had. Although it seems in this game only the non player races look truely unique...which is sad because otherwise it's a wonderful game.
