First in 4-4-8 is close to a must then i would sugest Str for the end ability and the hate gain, aswell as the haste is always a good stuff and after taht Sta line to get hammer ground is a good idea

I am currently have 4-4-2 in the int line, and its great...will be pushing that one to 4-4-8.

Am running lvl 20 armor quests and have to shut of exp to get AA points on all my quests without out leveling them.

I plan on going 4-4-8 in the crusader INT line, heck just 17% at 2 points in spell crit is a nice increase in damage, cant wait to see what 8 points is like. I will get reaver next then go through STR.

If a vet could comfirm that it is possible to swing the STR line's end power 4-4-8 in int and clear the reaver line I would appreciate it. I am quite new (this is my first character) but have been kicking butt and taking names soloing everything so far.

For raid tank....

KoS: all the way down STA to DA is solid, then either STR or INT are generally preferred.

EoF: Hate all the way to Syphon Hate, some reaving, and Decay to at least Syphon armament works well. Some seem to like Pools of Blood, with less in reaving too.

For group tanking you'll likely get more out of extra points in reaving than decay, as well as INT over STR imo.

so you dont take reaver?

how can you tank without that rather major boost in healing, right now infernal armor is my bread and butter it seems? and doesnt death march generate enough hate to keep aggro if you are MT (most the forums seems to agree on this)...yeah and oh lords of the acronym..whats EoF, KoS?

edit, to add...I see some who lean towards STA, yet others who espouse that Reaver gives you so much regen with its heal per spell cast that the bonus from STA vs Reaver line is pretty much the same...though more seem to lean towards reaver.

KoS = Kingdom of sky expansion: the Crusader line of AAs for STR, WIS, INT, etc.

EoF = Echoes of Faydwer expansion: the SK line of AAs for Hate, Reaving, Decay etc.

There are also a fair amount of power drains, stuns, stifles, fears, knockbacks etc that are always nailing you as MT.

Deathmarch is probably the absolute best 1 shot snap aggro generator in game, but no....it's not a guaranteed aggro keeper throughout a long fight, particularly after the recent aggro changes. It's just a single great tool in our Hate arsenal (with additional benefits).

KoS = Kingdom of the Sky

EoF = Echoes of Faydwer

Tougher raid mobs can hit extremely hard, and crusaders have the lowest initial HP pool of all the tank classes....STA gives us a nice little shot of extra health *up front*, as well as the best incoming dammage stopper, save-you-butt ability available to us (arguably in-game).....DA (Divine Aura). Healing back health after you've been killed is not an option. Personal opinion anyway, I only know what works for me...not what works for everyone else
