I'm here because of the offer in the mail because of the failure of Vangaurd, and when I try to choose Qeynos it says I can't because I'm a trial account, I thought the offer is not trial but a full game!

You might want to bring this to the technical support forum...

Ya, it's a gimped "full version" They require you to create a character and get it to lvl 5 first in Kelethin/Neriak first. Then after that you can park that character and make whatever else you want. (Don't delete the character otherwise the restriction will kick in again) I think they did this because the Kelethin/Neriak area's are cleaner and better setup then the old world. Dumb in my opinion.

ah, okay, thanks! Also I think I skipped the part about making new hotbars or something. Now at level 5 I can't insert my skills without taking some out of the bar.

Right click on the hotbar you have and there should be a option for Create new Hotbar.

This game makes me sorta confused. I get invited to the group but no group tab opens up. Also there is no make new window when I right click on my hotbar.

Click on the little spinner on the left-hand edge of the hotbar. If you click on any of the hot buttons, the menu is button-specific options, rather than hotbar options.

Right click at the end of the hotbutton bank - right at the left hand side, before the first hotbutton. It's kinda unintuitive but there's a "spinner" that allows you to change Hotbutton_Bank_01 to Hotbutton_Bank_02 etc but, because of changes to the UI since launch, the "spinner" is hidden - most people have more than one bank on screen at a time so have no need to change them this way anymore. Regardless, you need to right click on it to open a menu allowing you to make new hotbuttons banks. An easier way to see where to click may be to hit F10 to show hidden UI items (it makes the transparent bits non-transparent, so everything has a black border) and right click on the black bit surrounding your hotbutton bank. Hitting F10 again will hide all UI items - useful for taking screenshots - with a third press of F10 putting things back to normal. Or I suppose you could right click a hotbutton, choose "Hotbar Settings" from the menu and select "Show Spinner". Either way, once you get the idea of where you need to aim your right clicks, it becomes a lot easier.

Also my chatbox dissappeared, I did the hotbar thing (thanks for help) and after doing some pwning of crabs and turtles my computer had a problem which had been done several time, I supsected it was the video card's problem. So my computer restarts and I log into my account on the computer and log into EQ2. So I'm in and I plan to send a message to someone I know somewhere else when the chatbox isn't there! Normally the chatbox is super transparant and only putting your mouse over it will show it but it was no where to be found!

Try hitting your F12 key to get your chat window back.

If that doesn't work, open your Options (Alt-O), select Controls from the menu to the left on the Options screen, open the Windows Keys section and look for Chat Window. Next to that you should see what keyboard command your game is set to.

Remember where this area is because it is a good place to find all those pesky window keys and even reassign them to something you prefer.
