I think it would be cool if I could wear a thick leather apron and gloves and hold tongs when I am tradeskilling as an armorer... AND have it give me a +5 bonus or something to my tradeskill. The same thing goes for tinkerers and provisoners... etc... they should all get a uniform... when I go outside my house or tradeskill instance... people would know what I am doing... plus it gives tradskillers gear to strive for. This stuff should be made using rares.. like rare cloth since it is universal across all races and really armorers might like their product but it's not the most comfortable to work in anyway... so it just makes sense. <p>If I remember well, at the begining of the game they used to have tradeskill equipments... I remember the tunic of the tradeskill or something like that... giving some + in some skills. I don't know if it still exist</p><p>(sorry for my english)</p>

Vanguard has a whole separate inventory window especially for this stuff... and SOE owns that game now so stealing the idea is no big deal ;-p I think Vanguards crafting system and crafting gear is actually overkill.... I'm thinking like a 2 piece set... or maybe even single piece so that when I put it on I automatically match and they really only need 1 good texture. They could even create the desire to have a balanced toon by making a very high end cool piece of gear lvl 70 adventurer lvl 70 trade skill both as requirements or something of that nature... it would cut down on all these lvl 15 or lower trade skill toons... people would have an incentive to level them on the other side. But that sounds selfish because I put trade skilling behind adventuring so I would automatically be eligible and some of you would not... so the bulk of the gear should only be dependent on trade skill lvl. Without the clothes dummy people will not want to clutter up their banks much... so it will lower the desire for this stuff.... I really think they should be added in tandem.

<p>The tunic does skill exist. You get the quest from an NPC in the tradeskill instance. It is called <a href="http://www.eq2.eqtraders.com/articles/article_page.php?article=q5&menustr=060000000000" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Seeking A Tradeskill Profession </a>and takes you through levels 3-10.
