Ok so i have returned from wow after like a year (friend finally convinced me) and me and 2 friends are going to start a trio One is going to be a fury and the other a mage/scout class hasn't decided yet Im looking at Shadowknight or paladin maybe even berserker I would prefer the first two Ok so to the real question i don't remember anything and i am guessing alot has changed How are Sk's at holding agro now and in general when i left they used to be ok What are paladins like? same for berserkers which would you say is more suited to a trio? I remember berserkers being alot of dps but paladins having that agro ability that gives them 40% of agro from the target they place it on Any advice would be helpful i really would prefer to be an sk though

People disagree with me, but I never had aggro problems on my sk. Well, apart from another SK in DPS mode. He constantly ripped aggro from me. Worst time in my life tbh. Warlock can rip, so can brigands (But they cheat) and bruisers (mostly because all of them seem to keep their taunt proc up when doing dps. So I say screw them). Warlocks, brigands and other tanks that dps will be able to rip aggro off anyone honestly, so if SK is the way you wanna go, do it.

1) How are Sk's at holding agro now and in general when i left they used to be ok.

SKs hold aggro very well, and are even better off in this department than they were a year ago. 2) What are paladins like?

Also solid tanks. Little less DPS than SKs, still a good amount of AOEs, Heals instead of life taps...more healing ability for others than SKs....little less for themsleves. Pallies have very strong aggro control if coupled with a high DPS class (amends).

3) same for berserkers

Strong class, more melee based and higher DPS generally. 4) which would you say is more suited to a trio?

Completely depends on the trio. SKs have the edge on both overall IMO though. 5) I remember berserkers being alot of dps

They still are...for tanks 6) but paladins having that agro ability that gives them 40% of agro from the target they place it on

Yep, great ability. 7) Any advice would be helpful i really would prefer to be an sk though

SKs are a powerful force, phenomenal vs multi-mobs, FD and Evac as fall backs. Great spell and CA animations and some stylish class armor etc...etc.. Given the chance to swap classes, and given comparable maters/gear and max AAs.....I'd still choose SK hands down. To each his own though.
