hi i am a level 42 swashy i am 4468str and at the moment 4,4 wisdom. was wondering if until i got to a higher level should i dual weild or could i start using a 1hander and do viable dps. I've heard things about wis being useless delay is over 2.0 any reply would be great

While we are a DPS class we also are massive Debuffers, I took 1H and the Swipe line to have raid utility, if you arent likely to raid then by all means do DW.

DW and 1H are pretty close to each other for DPS btw, so I wouldnt panic too much. I went for Wis because when fighting lvl 74 mobs I like to hit them and Coule helps me do this.

You're not going to see a whole lot of benefit from the Wis line until later on. I'd recommend dumping all of your points into the STR line first, and when you have enough points in the KoS tree, say maybe 35 or so, to start splitting them between wis and str, or wis and agi.

I'm a T7 raiding swash and just switched from STR/WIS to STR/AGI. Honestly I like sailwind way too much to give it up for WIS anymore, and my parses haven't dropped off whatsoever. Hard to tell because I haven't been DW for very long but using GDoH and Living Stone Blade I easily parse 2k+, which is pretty good for Qeynos side PvP server.

Tanks in my range laugh at me for speccing wisdom early then they stop when they lose aggro because they were slacking. Wis can be viable IMO at lower levels if you look for the right weapon.

Admittedly, I neglected my swashbuckler until he was a bit higher. Therefore, his weapons and armor were... shall we say ..... in need of improvement, lol.
