If a family member who uses the same computer as me wants to play EQ2 and makes a new account, could he use the Vangaurd failure provided copy of fully expanded, adventure packed client I have with his new account? Remember this is on the same computer.

Or do I need to buy a copy of EQ2, that big expansion combined pack that people have been talking about to get instead of each one individually, and the 3 adventure packs for that seperate account to have the same content level as me?

You can use the same client but unless they own everything that your account does they just won't have access to it.

Will he have to put in any special "I own this expansion" keys if the expansion is downloaded because of this special offer?

I don't understand your question. Your account had the special offer. It should not affect his account at all. If he wants access to the expansions he will have to buy the expansions and apply the CD-KEY to HIS account. Then he will have access to the expansions. But like I said, he does not HAVE to just because you have the expansions.

Okay I think I understand now, thanks!

He can use it without any extra downloads or whatever but he needs the key from it.

If he wants to access them, yes. If he is fine only having what he has then he doesn't. If you need to buy the expansions and live in NA then I would suggest buying it from D2D: http://www.direct2drive.com/6/4362/...lation-Download This will upgrade his account to all expansions. Don't buy it from SOE, they sell them piece meal. The D2D doesn't include the Adventure Packs though. Those are only purchasable from SOE.

The upside is that while he might have to purchase the expansions to gain access to them if he's using the same computer he won't have to download/install anything since the files are already there. The only thing that will need to be done is register the keys to his account.
