I just started the game, and have levelled two characters so far. A defiler to 11, and an illusionist to 12. At 11 my defiler has 2 AA's, while my illusionist has none, the bar is still at 0%. Im doing plenty of quests, which should get me points, from what I can understand, so what am I missing?

Also, if I recall correctly, you won't get discovery aa xp for areas within the cities (Queynos, Freeport, Kelethin, etc)..you will get discoveries, but no aa xp. If the quests are level 10 or higher and you are still not getting aa xp, then do a /petition and/or a /bug. There were alot of quests and Named NPC's from the old world that did not give aa xp, but with the last Game Update, alot of that should have been fixed, not certain how much though...

Enough that it doesn't surprise me when it happens. But I'd agree with you that he should likely check the level of the quests he's completing since that's the most likely culprit.

IMO using griffons to travel doesnt get you the AA across that map thats why I usually ran the whole map before using griffons because then I would have no idea what I visited and what I did not..

Does AA (AP) experience scale with level or is it a set amount?

For example: Do I get the same amount for completing a green quest as i do for completing a yellow quest? Or is each quest assigned its own value? Do grey quests give no AA exp?

The reason I am wondering is I want to make sure I get to max AA before or close to reaching lvl 70 and I am just looking to plan ahead.

Thanks for any helpful info.

Doing a level 60 quest at level 20 (possible with collections) will result in you not receiving the full amount. It will still be a relatively big reward, but still truncated to your level.
