Green Plus sign and other Trees

<p>I just returned to EQ2 after being away for 2 or so years.  A lot has changed.</p><p>Could someone please explain to me what the green and gold plus sign is, what it's actual name is (not just an abbreviation), and how to respec it?</p><p>Also how is this related to and or different from the achievement point tree?  What is the whole deal with the achievement tree how does it work and how do I respec it as well?</p><p>Is there anywhere I can respec every aspect of my old toon without just starting over?</p><p>Thanks for your help.</p><p>Cheers </p>

Most likely since you been gone for so long you already have a free respec hence why your seeing the Green Plus sign (Racial Traits and Class Mastery choices). Dunno about a Gold Plus sign? AA are completely separate from Racial Traits and Class Mastery Choices.  AA (Advanced Achievement) can be respecced.  Where, I am not sure but it costs like a gold and gets more expensive every time you use it. You can respec everything but your adventure class.  They even have a Tradeskill respec NPC now.

You can talk to your Achievement Counsel NPC in your Home City (Qeynos, Freeport, Kelethin, Neriak) and he/she will give you the option to respec your Racial Trait or either of your AA Tree's.  Currently, if you "Hail" the npc and talk to them, they will give you a "5 Free Respec Card".  If you haven't respec'd your AA trees yet, when you open the window ("L" key by default), in the top right corner of each tree you should have a Free respec button.  You can also just type /respec, but this can only be done ONCE.
