Ok, Ok, I admit it..... I get lonely sometimes, running round CL, trying to avoid ganksters. And I'd like a usless little companion in the way of a pet to keep me company! (similar to level 20 fun spells, say for wizzy's cat and assassin' rat). I know there are a few quests around with pet rewards, but I can't seem to find a comprehensive guide to them. I've seen folks with baby owlbears, ducks, mushrooms, wolves etc.... where in Norrath are these quests found?

Baby owlbears ou get in nektulos by picking up eggs. ducks you get from a quest ins teamfont, cant remember the name, but its pretty easy. Mushrooms you get in Splitpaw, think its for completing the solo arena there. Wolves are for shaman only. AA pet. There are so many wierd pets you can have that making a complete list would be quite a job. like the hearts from erollisi day. Now thats wierd.

I asked a simular question last week. Most pets seem to be unique to a certain class, but there are a couple that are quest items. The only ones I can see that were missed are maybe the pets you get for the deity quests listed under Buff pets.

There are tons of pets that you can quest, but only a few actually follow you around. Diety pets are one, so is the duck from Steamfont. There's a mushroom available somewhere. Baby owlbears. Occasionally you'll see a tiny orc warrior - those are from a Guide event, and you just have to be in the right place at the right time.

The majority of pets you see running after folks are actually class pets of some sort. Cats, rats, hawks, wolves, elementals, undead, bugs, books, gargoyles.

As for finding the quests, best bet is to ask the person where they got it. Failing that, go to eq2wikia or alla's. I'm not sure either site lists quests by "pet reward", but they might be able to help you.
