Can anyone recommend a good safe place to harvest in these tiers? I'm finding it difficult not to die and am wasting money on buying raws instead of harvesting

Thanks in advance

What level are you?

If you are having problems with T6, I guess you are not level 70. You are going to really struggle in T7 if your toons are under 60.

Where are you harvesting in T6? I find it easy to harvest along the beach in sinking sands with a character in the mid 20's. With care (and good situational awareness) I also am able to get into the crocodile caves and farther afield.

Gnomish cross-trainers help.

Personally, I ran around Sinking Sands in T6 (I was in my adventuring 20s at the time). The beach areas of SS are pretty safe, and there are outcroppings of ore here and there in the desert off the path of the dedicated ore-farmers. Stick to the tops of the ridges so you can see danger more easily, there are paths you'll learn that are safer than others. Plus much profit to be made from collectibles found out there - I financed my first 9p horse by selling these (and that was when SS was a new zone, so it was much harder to collect that much coin). A fast horse and good situational awareness will help here - there's still danger of course, but that's just part of the fun!

I mainly did a mix of Tenebrous Tangle and Bonemire for T7. Tenebrous has some good safe areas for roots and bushes in particular (Temple Grounds at the top of the river, and Gazer Isle, respectively). Ravasect Incursion Point and Vornerus Isle are also OK, they look dangerous at first but the bugs on them are very short sighted and with some care you can pick out wood, pelts, and gems. Over in Bonemire, Shattered Weir has a good area for pelts around the crystalline structure, and also some other mixed nodes. And the main Drednever Crash Site island has ore and other nodes once you learn your way around safely. I harvested my way to 70 with my first crafter and she's still only a 36 adventurer, so it's definitely doable. In fact, I spent about an hour up on Bonemire today harvesting with her - couple deaths mainly due to carelessness, but I came home with several hundred harvests and 3 rares.

Just be alert, don't stress if you do die, and preferably get a fast horse or run speed buff in case you do need to run for it. Harvesting naked (or in a tailored fancy dress) saves on all the repair bills so there's no need to worry about your costs there!

In SS you can safely harvest on the island that houses Pirates Perch. Every node is there in abundance, sans mining nodes.

I often see a REALLY annoying level 12 Conj in the Bonemire, harvests everything (even those soemone else is harvesting already...) so it can be done. They have the cheapest prices on the Broker, tend to be on 24/7, and never respond to /tells, but it just shows it an be done if you don't mind death! This particular bot is nekkid, and must die an awful lot, but uncannily always gets straight to the spawn points of ores particularly.....

So, try Bonemire, hop the transporter from the ELands, and give it a go - there is even a postbox there, and you can sell/buy from a provisioner (not that you'd want to buy t7 food).

BTW, my idea of the best way to deal with bots - I'm with my monk, harvesting in Bonemire/doing writs, when a mob aggros. Instantly, this toon appears to harvest the node I was on, as the "guarding" mob is engaged.

I then FD
