Hello all, I've been doing a LOT of reading and playing lately trying to find something that I enjoy. I really want some form of a hybrid character, a character that fights with melee weapons but has magic to support and aid the fight. Now I have tried both a Shadowknight and a Paladin, and while they are fun (I actually can't decide between the two) I also want to try a healer based character as I have been hearing that Wardens and Mystics can be both be built as viable melee characters. I am looking to get some information, suggestions, feedback, etc on which way to go between Mystic and Warden. I will be soloing 90% of the time so what is important to me is to be able to experience as much of the game as I can with the character solo. I prefer questing to grinding. I like to explore and the ability to travel fast and SAFELY is important as well. I also like characters that are flexible and allow you to approach fights differently if one tactic isn't working. Characters that essentially force you to press the same sequence of buttons for every fight even if you're losing don't interest me much. I like to be able to die, then say "Hmm..ok how can I do this differently next time?"

Furies dont get a melee option.

I have played a combat mystic to 55, a combat Inq to 22 and am saving warden for a Sarnak.

Mystic is serious kick [Removed for Content] with the full Combat AAs and the Agility tree. In terms of traveling safely, I carry a bunch of Totems of the Chamelon for Inviso. Wardens can travel with the druid rings and can get up to 40% speed so you might want to try one.
