I'm only 52, so don't know what happens between where I am and 70, but with the removal of the STR buff, does that mean that not only do we have two primary attributes to worry about for damage/mana pools, but that we are the only class without any buffs to our primary ability score(s)?

Mystics don't get a WIS buff (unless they use AA points and cast their tank buff on themselves). I'm sure there are others, but those are just the ones I know.

We do have the INT buff in Offensive left....for now lol.

We apparently also get the 25% bonus from having to buff 2 stats I suppose....also, for now.

We are now the ONLY fighter without a buff to Primary Power Stat (Str. Int is Secondary Power Stat). Doesn't it feel great to be kicked in the crotch with a steel toed boot? Seriously, I want my dang Str back, even if it's just on my self buff.

Guardians get a STR buff in our offensive stance because most, if not all of, our CA's are melee based. Side effect being increased mana pool.

Shadowknights get an INT buff in their offensive stance because, correct me if I am wrong, most of their CA's are magic based attacks. Is there any other side effect other than increasing the magic DPS?

Do shadowknights still have Siphon Might (decrease target STR, increase caster STR)?

Guards Get STR buff cause thats ups your DPS overall pure stat wise .. Sks are split INT/STR leaning on one or the other is realy not an option... an sk with 800int and 200str is going to do less then an SK 500str 500int overall DPS wise. All our CAs are STR based all our Spells are INT Based.. and ofcourse our Weapon is STR and we split Mana pool between STR and INT. Siphon Might is still there, its a duration buff that helps but does not make up for what was lost at all.. Basically all people want is the STR moved to Self Buff for us so we arent Nerfed from this whole change.. STR is still our base line mana pool and an assest stat.

I will not act brash and say *ohh i quite this game etc.*! But i will say that this is where i begin to loose my Interest in EQ2. SoE always manages to always prove to be nothing more than an disappointment.

The realy big issue as well is every SK has balanced thier stats to this point with thier gear.... This hit is going to leave everyone trying to resort what they fought hard to obtain... We are harder to maintain stat wise then other Classes in this game... If i want to DPS i cant just say hey i can up this stat will give me Mana and increase DMG to produce better dps... I have to look into two stats..

Honestly the str/int Gear other then SK only stuff is small if existant there is stuff out there with str and int but most of it is like 7str/30int or 36str/8int Hence to balance ourselfs is impossible, most of us are near balanced prev of update but not all the way most the time our INT is going to be higher anyway but this just furthers the gap between int and STR ....

In plain its sucks i didnt complain about it being to low I dealt with that.. but now its just to much.

Yes, we still have Siphon Might to gain *some* Strength during combat to do melee damage and get some power to perform CAs and spells.

Siphon Strength or not, we (and our groups) still lost some STR.

I thought looking at other posts in this forum that I had made a bad call with getting Vanguard armor, now I am not so sure I got it wrong (until the next nerf of course)

Thanks for the replies. It always hurts when they change a something for the worse. Hang in there.

Spells and CA's are constantly under construction in every MMORPG, there is no need to whine around in my eyes. Every class in the game thinks that it got the nerf bat somtimes (I remember when they removed the str from my loved M2 Dirge Hatebuff last year ).
