Is there a way to save my personal keybindings as default? Every time I open the options menu it resets my keybindings to the default keybinds. I use a completely different setup and it's getting annoying in the middle of a dungeon to have to re do my keybindings. Help!

It really sucks that it does that. Everytime i go in to set raid performance or something it resets my tell key and my command key and it drives me insaaaane like youd never believe. I havent tried it, but I know theres a place at the bottom of your options menu where you can actually save your options and pull them up again at a later time. (: Nifty!

Here is the method I use.

First get your keybindings all set the way you want.

Do "/save_keymaps filename" fill in filename with something.

Setup a macro with the following

: ; load_keymaps filename ;

Put that macro on some little used hotbar, for me it is on Bar 0 - button 9.

Then when ever I want to reload my keybindings I just hit shift0 to switch to bar 0 and press the 9 key. Shift 1 moves me back to my primary hot bar.

You can use the macro on all your alts and they will all have the same keymap that way.

PS there was some sort of problem with loading the 0 button I am not sure if it was ever fixed but there is an easy fix for the problem. Open up the file you saved you keybinding into using notepad or any text editor. You should find your file in SonyEverQuest IIKeyboards. Using the editor duplicate the first line, and save the file.

Note: Edited to fix syntax

unfortunately this isn't working for me. Any Idea what I might be doing wrong? is there supposed to be a space between the end of th macro and the semi-colon? Grrr. I don't understand why it keeps doing this anyway. thanks.

That was just a sentence ending in the forum post.
