Can any wizards tell me if Al'Kabor's Flaming Visage is working. Every time I try it the hot key acts as if it is triggering but nothing appears to happen. I thought it was supposed to engulf you in flames.

I'm just wondering if it is bugged and not working or I'm just not seeing the effect because I haven't got something set right on my pc.

Under your alt P and options do you have illusions turned on?

If you mean the 'Hide my Illusion Form' in the options of my Persona. That is unchecked but I have tried it both ways.

Is it possible for someone to try theirs to see if it works, or has anyone got any other suggestions why mine isn't working. Just want to know if I've got to send in a bug report or not. I want to rule out any problems on my end first.

Works fine on mine, I do know that if I turn my graphics down to a certain level (forget how far) that the flaming stuff etc will not render.

That's a starter for something for me to look at. Any pointers or suggestions as to what setting I should be checking out. There's so many setting there I don't know which ones to alter. The only one I've touched so far is the particle effect so I can see the shinies from a greater distance.

I'll give my specs to give an idea of what you think I can alter to get better graphics without affecting performance too much.

Athlon 64 3500+ 2.20 GHz

2 gig ram

Nvidia 7600 gt

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi

Windows Vista Home premium

32 bit operating system

Go into graphic options and increase all "particle effects" to max level. It will make you spot a sparkly a mile away... and makes things like flames more realistic and bright... just make sure to turn it back down if you are having some problems seeing mobs while fighting in groups due to all the bright sparks flying around.

Thank you very much. It seems to have been the bottom slider 'Maximum particle size' that was causing the problem. Slid that up to about halfway and it started working.

Just found out how many other effects I've been missing out on not having that slider pushed up!
