If the new Sarnak race is going to start of neutral how is this going to play out in pvp? Are they going to become a new faction on there own where they can kill anyone? Or will you be forced to eventually pick a faction? WIll they be an ally to exiles who also can kill anyone, or will it be all out war with them as well? And can you kill other sarnak?

They're being forced to evil alligned classes, so my guess would be they'll be evil.

I'd still like to see 3rd faction.

That's true. From what all I read, I saw that they were going to be true neutral, so I was assuming they had no bounds in regards to class, and they would be exile-alligned in regards to pvp.

I've been onder the impression that Sarnak will be neutral. But then again, I'm just a Troubador.

The reason people are saying they're going to be evil is because if you look at charactor creation on all the neutral races it says those who start in Qeynos are good and those who start in Freeport or Timorous Deep are evil. Although I agree with the majority of the rest of you....I would like a true neutral faction city (starting city) instead of an evil city where neutral races may start.

Looks like sarnak are going to be evil. Go to character creation screen and look into a neutral race.. it says if they start in Timorous Deep, they are evil.

What i hope they do, if they aren't able to make a race start with all classes due to game mechanics, is maybe make two camps within Timorous deep (still the same city, just different hamlets), kinda like what they did with Paineel and Erudin on Odus, but in the same city and same faction.

So if you want to make an evil-classed Sarnak, you start on West Gorowyn (still the same faction), if you want a good Sarnak, you choose East Gorowyn.

I'm not at all sure how some meekly Kerra is going to find itself in a hidden Sarnak city in the middle of Timorous Deep, but that's how it seems to be planned.

The Sarnak have never been a nice race, and have always been just as wicked as their Goblin, Giant, Burynai, Drolvarg, and Iksar neighbors (Kunark simply isn't a nice place), why should they have good classes? It's one thing to let wandering adventurers of any stripe come into your city (virtually all of Kelethin does that), it's another thing to abandon good ol' fashioned Necromancy and start training Paladins.

I would rather it was a true Neutral city and only Neutral classes can start there too (IE Guardian, Berserker, Wizard, Warlock, etc...).

I'd be screaming mad if SOE pulled that stunt. I'd also like to point out that the alpha server sarnak shown during E3 was a necromancer.

And I wouldn't take anything from a Alpha server as gospel. Maybe Scott Hartsman likes Necro's so he created his character as a necro. He is a dev, is on a alpha server and can do anything he wants.

There is no way for a wizard or warlock to become a necromancer/conjurer or coercer/illusionist.

They could change it, they already have what 3-4 times since the games release?

Changing from Wizard to Necro makes absolutely no sense.
