We raided labs last night. Just to do a very easy zone with the new combat changes. It was painful, very painful. I died 15 times. I had to take inspiration and hail of steel off my combat bars, if I used either of them regaurdless of how long I waited for the tank to build agro, how much i eluded, or even hitting hideaway just before them, I ripped agro and died. I even had to be careful of straight auto-attack hurricane hits causing adds to shift to me. It sucked all the more cause we don't have a dirge for the the 36% hate increase to tank, with the coercer nerfed from 49 to 16 now, it is truely the suck for us. I actually died more than either warlock, even after busting a nut to manage hate. Bruiser ended up beating me on the zone wide, all in all, not a good night. Hope everyone else is fairing better on the change.

Looks like it only got more challenging. I am sure you'll find the secret to get yourself back up there in dps again.

On a more positive note, I was soloing ^ heroics that were two levels higher than me in Stinking-er-Sinking Sands last night. I know we could do it already even though I couldn't, but without upgrading equipment or skills I got tuffer overnight.

I think you have a lazy tank with a poor MT group setup.

.....admittedly, I've only been on one raid since the update went live.....and yes I did notice that I needed to watch my aggro a little more than previously.....but the MT was still holding our adversaries without much trouble......

....imho, it may have been more of a question of your MT rather than the update changes to you.....of course I'm sure the update didnt help.....

btw....I agree with the other poster....I enjoyed the little extra challenge....

Good Luck!

....and sorry to hear about your puppy

you know the reason they nerfed hate? me...i got so sick of pulling aggro on my berserker when trying to dps i switched to a swashy for the hate xfer...i hit 60 the night before the nerf...they knew i was about to hit 70 and start raiding...they wanted to screw it up for me.

I take full responsibility.

change your blue poison to ignorant bliss.... that seems to be what they want us to do now.

Haven't tried it yet, but I'd think that the AA line to enhance avoid censure should offset at least our aggro problems. I hadn't used points on that , but may well do so now. I think it increases the proc rate up 2% per AA point. I don't have the amount of hate reduction per trigger right now, so hard to evaluate. But doesn't this seem to be a solution?

If they're still pulling aggro with that group setup, your tank is lazy and is one of those tanks that thinks he can just taunt when it's up and use CA's whenever, as opposed to using every single attack and taunt as soon as they come up, like a good tank does.

We had no problem with agro MT set up was guardian mystic templar coercer dirge swashy (me) With this setup i was even able to run turgur instead of bliss. With the proc rate increase bufs from the mystic, templar and dirge avoid censure was firing off nicely plus my caustic was up to almost 10 procs per min. I do have 5 into the avoid censure AA. I have no idea about hos since i have the dt bow and seldom need to use range i just let it auto attack when i need to.

.... how exactly did the puppy die, btw?

Did Labs last night with a different tank who was in gear that didn't even compare to our normal gaurdian who was on his dirge. After a while I started to let loose w/ DPS (I was in MT group), and even with a guy who was tanking the zone for the first time with no threat proc gear and I'm guessing Ad3 spells, maybe masters, I only died once and that was because i got devitalized and nailed before I could hit my de-agro heh.

I also tanked Alzid Prime, yay me

....does nobody else care about the puppy?!

I turned censure and my hate transfer off and unloaded a couple 3k parses, didn't pull aggro from my tank. These changes really don't bother me.

...with the death of the puppy in mind, should we be considering reporting GU37 to PETA?
