Hate List?

<p>Hi, short and sweet - hate to sound like a total n00b but lately i'm hearing this new buzz word "hate list" being thrown around, and people saying that they sit at x spot on it... is there a way to calculate hate lists? does ACT do it if you set it up? any help would be nice because soon i will be starting to raid on my coercer and i'd like to be able to see if im doing things alright and any info like that would be great</p><p>thanks</p><p>p.s. tried search and couldnt find any answers, sorry if there is already a post about it</p>

There is no true way to calculate it, hate cannot be parsed, it is an element of the game that is purposefully left as a mystery.  Some don't like that, I think it's a good thing.  If we knew, this would turn into a game of constantly watching a hate meter and that doesn't exactly sound fun to me.

There's really only 2 ways to get a guess at hate position. 1) Someone pulls aggro from the MT, usually a DPS. This is the easy one to see. 2) MT goes down and an OT doesn't pick it up. See which order the mob goes to on the raid to kill people. <img src="/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Whenever I have made a comment on being towards the top of the list is when the MT drops and the mob comes for me after killing 1 or 2 other people.
