Well, I hear alot of people saying Rogues are the best PvPers. Now I've played a Brig and from that and what I've read I know they can stun you to hell and back...but apparently thats not how Swashies get it done...they have high dps? survivability? something interesting I don't know of? What makes the swashy rip in PvP?

Swashbucklers are better than Brig's at this point. The PVP rebalancing thing about a month ago was kind of rough for them. Our biggest PVP abilities are Reach and Inspiration, which results in a class with quality damage with the ability to spike, and alot of utility even for a scout(track/evac are pretty big) Reach allows you well, range. If someone is charging you, you are hitting them before hitting you, and it gives you an advantage when dancing around vs. a melee target. Reach also means in group PVP, you dont have to run around trying to find your target, they are almost always in range, and your AE's will hit the entire group. Inspiration is a nice spike damage spell. It isnt what it used to be, but it'll put out some nice damage. It's hard for most healers to heal through Inspiration+ spam CA's, especially with sailwind. Also, coupled with En Garde vs. high avoidance players like Monks, it's very nasty. Afaik, Walk the Plank doesnt turn people in PVP. It is, however, a 22 meter root(reach) that you can cast on the run, which is awesome for runners.

walk the plank is a rogue KoS AA, so we both get it. I am sure I have been planked' in PvP, but can anyone confirm this?

Walk the Plank works in PvP, but the turn around feature isn't visual and isn't very reliable in PvP anyhow. It's main use is to keep people in one spot. Nail em with a couple of snares and attacks, then WtP and a few more attacks, stun them and finish them off. It's almost as good as stun locking.
