Does the AA, Legionnaire's Mercy doing anything for us?

I have started down the intelligence tree as recommended by others in this site. One of the AA skills, which is teir 4 in the intell tree for the crusader, is Legionnaire's Mercy, which gives us critical chance for heal spells. Does this apply to the Shadow Knight in any way? Certainly, the other crits are good,but I am not sure about this.

Only to reaver, on a crit Reaver heal for every 100 HP healed you get 30 more (I think)

I always heard it could, but I've never tried to be honest.

The heal aspect of our spells is linked to the damage aspect.  If the damage doesn't Crit the heal won't.  (Of course with a 77% Chance to crit damage I really don't care =P)
