Hello, I'm an EQ2 veteran looking to get back into the game. It's been a little over a year since I last played, but I'm excited to start playing again.

I'm basically just looking for a guild and a server. I'm 33 and am a fairly casual player. I play mostly on weekday evenings (CST). And like to help people and while I'm not an expert, I'm not helpless as I've had both a zerker and a warden in the mid 50's.

What I'm looking for...

1) A mature guild

2) A guild that hasn't done it all and is bored with the idea of anything outside of raiding.

3) A PVP server is preferred, but I'm willing to do either. I will (lightly) RP, but I don't get too into it.

So, if you are part of a guild that understands what really makes these games great, please reply to this, I'd be glad to join. I'll be any class the guild may need, so don't hesitate to ask if there is a need.

Thanks for your time and good travels to you!

I'm not entirely sure when the 'looking for guild' option was put into the game, but in case you missed it, you can press "U" when logged in, and see a list of different guilds that are recruiting. You can find out a lot of information just by browsing this feature.

As for picking a server, I'm sure you'll find a decent amount of guilds that would be happy to have you on any server

Welcome back, and happy guild hunting!

Be aware that the guild recruitment tool currently only displays the largest guilds on the server that are recruiting. If you're looking for a smaller more casual guild it can often be difficult to find with that tool. Still, it's worth a shot so it can't hurt. As far as specifics there isn't a whole lot anyone is going to be able to tell you past their own server. Antonia Bayle is probably the most recommended PVE server due to the high population, but any of the servers will have plenty of opportunity for you. My server, Permafrost, seems to have a moderate population and a fairly laid back attitude. My guild is almost solely populated by people who are thirty or older and play erratic times due to the needs of real life, you'll likely be able to find a similar guild on nearly any server however. Wish I could be more help, but unfortunately this is a question you'll likely have to actually try out some servers to decide on. Otherwise you're just likely to get a bunch of sales pitches for specific servers and guilds. Good luck!
