I am actually curious to know if the Potted Fruited Shrub is animated and actually grows fruit which is interactive at some point or merely has graphical fruit on it...

Hmm? It's in there. An intrepid band of single-minded interior decorators has ventured deep into what remains of the Misty Thicket, and returned bringing yet more furnishing ideas to the cities of Norrath.

???

Said plain as day that single-minded Carpenters have returned from Misty Thicket with new recipes ( Ok paraphrased, but the line is definately in the patch notes.)

yeah, well, would it have killed you to just say "here's a bunch of new carpenter house items to offset the duplicates we're ganking"? i REALLY dont like cutesy lore in patch notes.

Now now, don't look a gift-dev in the mouth. That cutesey lore means they put forth the effort to be creative in the way they announced it and give a little flavor (lore) to appeal to those who might enjoy perhaps a bit of RP in their MMORPG.

And... it also illustrates that once in a while in life you can save yourself a hassle by taking the time to read what you skim.

i wouldnt have minded if the "in character" version was in the overview section, and something more "real" was in the tradeskill section

Considering that it has been advertised and discussed starting with the 5th of this month in several spots on these forums (this forum, Norrathian Homeshow and the Community News forum), it was advertised. It has been talked about, drooled about, etc. for a while. I'm sorry if you didn't find the patch notes to be a sufficient announcement, but the information has been out there for several weeks.

So many nice new house items, I'm thrilled! I could hardly decide what to make first. Thank you so much, Domino! Oh, one lil' thing -- I had a tough time finding the bone xylophone, found I didn't have advanced craftsman 19, bought and scribed that, and no bone xylophone. As you can see in the dialogue below, it didn't show up until I scribed volume 15, although it is labeled in my recipe book as a level 19 recipe.

A wood burning stove, very very nice. I do like these additions, including the chalice. More things such as drinking vessels, cooking utensils, crockery, etc is most welcome. Since we can't actually _use_ the furniture, the more we can get to make a house look like _someone_ is or was living there, the better.
