Heya guys,

On all the characters that I've played my AA exp has always been behind my combat level... Like I'll be lvl 42 with about 35 AAs... I thought that was pretty good until I've seen some players that are lvl 42 with 42 AAs. I know it has to do something with turning combat exp off, but when would be the best time to do it? When turning in quests, grinding, etc? Not really a big deal, I'd just like to see if it benefits my lowbie SK as he levels up. Thanks guys!

Grinding exp solo is slower than doing quests. and oh yeah. My lvl 28 has 42 aas. at 42, 63 should be a nice aa. Hehe.

So, if I'm a lvl 18 SK with 9 AA's, I should turn off my combat exp til I'm at around 18 AA's?

I'm a little confused... If I'm turning off my combat experience, how am I able to complete the quests that I need to complete for achievement exp? For instance, I have only 1 quest left in Darklight Woods that is lvl 21 and orange to me at lvl 18... I don't think I'll be able to do it at lvl 18, so I'll have to level to be able to do it.

Does this mean I stay at 18 and travel around doing all quests that are doable at lvl 18?

You want to collect other quests that are level 15-18. I am working up a new Dirge (Freeport-based). I turned off combat xp at level 10 and ran around and picked up as many quests in Darklight, Freeport, Commonlands and GFaydark as I could. I do green quests first, then blue if no green ones are left.

If I ever get to the point that I cannot get new quests that are do-able, turn on combat xp and adventure until you get high enough to do more. However, given the large number of quests, I think that is highly unlikely before the mid 30s.

Good luck!

I never turned off combar exp, but normally i get more then 1 AA-level per advernture-level, so at 20 i may have 10-13 AAs .. at around 30 i normally come to the point where i have 30+ AAs. However i mostly solo/duo and do all the timeline quests in all areas. So yeah .. if you run out of quests, or only have yellow quests in the current zone its time to go elsewhere and try to catch up as much quests as possible before they went gray

Do the quests. Kill named mobs (once each). Buy some collections. My SK twink have 60+ AA on 47 lvl without turning combat exp off.
