<p>I've never spent any time decorating my home(s). I'm not even sure what "rent status reduction" means or what it is good/bad for.</p><p>However, once I learned how to make money and needed to buy some really expensive stuff I started visiting other homes to buy it, saving the non-trivial broker fee.</p><p>In the process I got to see a number of homes, how they were decorated, etc. That has gotten me a little interested in decorating my own home. I also am about ready to start selling out of my home, which might or might not require a bigger and more expensive 3-room house. If furnature reduces my rent I might want to look into that if I get a bigger house.</p><p>I am kind of interested in seeing how other people have decorated their homes. I think I read once about a contest for the nicest-looking house. But I don't remember where I saw that. I could not find it via a few searches this morning.</p><p>There is a "sexiest warden" thread on the warden board where people have posted screen shots of their wardens. It might be neat to see screen shots of home interiors. Or maybe there already is a thread like that I can visit?</p><p>Even if that is a bad idea for some reason, maybe somebody could post a link to the list of nicest homes from the contest I mentioned?</p><p>Most homes I've visited have been in South Qeynos and most have been quite dark for some reason. I might be inclined to make mine as bright as possible, but that is strictly personal taste. Most of them have also had a large number of household pets. One of the more interesting things I've seen has been some neat artwork and one home had an interior forest made up of a lot of potted trees.</p>
